Blithering Idjit
I am a blithering idiot. You may have seen me around. You may have wanted to kill me.

Of course I'm a busy little bee, showing homes and providing a useful service to potential home buyers and renters, so I don't always have time to return phone calls. And this is just my second job, so I really can't provide the kind of service you might expect as a potential home buyer or renter. And I don't really make much money on the rentals, so you're on the back burner anyway.

You know, my aunt died from California's poor health care -- she had been misdiagnosed for two years before she died -- she had this cancer in her lung, and there was this fluid, and the doctors had diagnosed it as emphysema but it was pneumonia and she had been in there 17 times over the past two years, and I really don't trust the health care system in California because I know everything there is to know about health care systems and California's is not good. Not good, and I don't even have to ASK if you care about this and I know you didn't even know my aunt and in fact barely even know me but this is stuff I know you need to know whether you want to know it or not and ...

Oh? Going back inside? Well, see ya later...

It's good to touch base with people frequently. That's why I always follow-up on my e-mail messages with a phone call. I call and tell the person that I sent them the email, then explain the contents of that e-mail messages. Efficiency first, that's what I always say!

Our company just merged with another one. You know how these corporate mergers work...anyhow, it turns out that we're just a teensy-weensy bit lower on our financials than we expected. So, although we've been recruiting heavily, we're doing the right thing and instituting an immediate hiring freeze. I told my managers about it today, but asked them to continue to follow up on the resumes we've been collecting. One of my managers actually had the nerve to ask me how to follow up on resumes during a hiring freeze...don't they understand, I just direct, I don't figure out the details of how my underlings do their jobs! Geez...
